A little off topic but I thought it was funny.
I took the new toy out to the ASWA Lunar night on Saturday. Naturally it clouded over (1st light syndrome of course).
But the other problem was a little embarrassing. I set it up during the day so that I wouldnt embarass myself during the night and couldnt find the power input point. In the end, even after tracing back wires I had to ring the builder Peter. He is a great guy and quickly helped me, it was actually fitted inside one of the feet (which was deep under unmowed grass so I didn't even think to look there). Peter stayed on my mobile giving me several tips including one about the foot and I quote:
Paul, be careful when you wheel it up the ramp into the trailer, give the foot a kick so that it is not at the front otherwise it will catch...
Roll forward a few hours to the Lunar night, I set it up, collimate it, exchange pleasantries with the neighbours and finally go to plug it in...
Busted plug, snapped off by the ramp on the trailer SH#T!!!!
First night was push to,a little repair work required in the next few days LOL
