I've attempted opening this up as well but no matter what i try, i just can't get the primary focuser shaft separated from the knurled knob on the left or the brass assembly on the right. i managed to pry it out about 1/2 an inch but thats about as much it'd budge. any tips on how to get it out?
also how much should the nut be tightened against the spring washer?
finally, does the microfocuser shaft come out completely, as it kind of gets stuck at the last 4 mm while trying to pull it out.
