Thanks everyone!
Been experimenting some more today. Might have some more coming soon!
Zane Yes I use a Flasjh, A Nissin Di622.
Mark,
I dont use any special timing rig (n o$ for it...)
I use a couple of techniques, many posted here I squeeze a drop out of a container and time as best I can the impact on the surface water.
In another setting i have a water bottle with a pin hole allowing a drip about 10 drops per sec that I catch with another container. I then let a few through and time the impact.
I alway s use a remote to triger my camera o reduce vibrations.
All shots are with flash behind a screen to diffuse it.
Its insane work...I get a few that I'm happy with though.
You develop a sense of timing these things after a while.
I cant do the two drops very well yet (the umbrellas)
Corrie White in Canada does amzing 3 drop stuff but she uses special equipment (called a time machine that automates the drops and triggers camera/flash etc...)
thanks for all the positive feedback
much appreciated.
