along with a few others we had a lucky weekend after being invited to stay with a friend near Lake Glenmaggie in East Gippsland. it was cloudy across most of the state later on saturday night but in westerly winds we were on the right side of the divide and had clear skies all night.
i hadn't planned for the night very well so it was a late decision to choose NGC6188 prompted by somebody else. it wasn't until i finished the processing at home that i realised this is the same area as mike's fighting dragons in ara (can you tell i haven't imaged this area before?
). the HA component looks great on its own but still not all that happy with the colour balance after mixing 25% into this:
