Hello ALl,
I have been doing a lot of searching all over the world. Seems that it can be done [fitting a crayford focuser on to a 102mm meade refractor like mine] but it hasn't been done yet. A couple of people have done it to different but very similar scopes such as the 2090 and 2102 - but not the starnavigator.

I intend to boldly go where no where no man or woman has ever gone before.........what was I saying, oh yeah, anyway I will be taking my little refractor apart and and making a crayford 2" fit it - one way or another.

I have found a store that sells the focusers for it, I may have to modify the focuser plate a little thats all. A few people on another forum (mostly in the US) have done it to the two above mentioned scopes.

I intend to write a how (not) to on this as I am sure there is a few of these little 102mm meades with lovely viewing but horrible fuscusing like mine.

Stay tuned...........
Best regards, F.
