Saturn storm June 4th 2011

Hi All,

Have had some unsettled weather passing through these last couple of days but the rain stopped and clouds cleared briefly last night after Sunset.

I have 1 reasonable RGB & 807nm IR data set that may be of interest, prior to the signal dropping off as more cloud moved in.

There is an interesting feature within the storm structure over near the Preceding limb, it shows up well in both the RGB & 807nm IR data, there is also a brighter more condensed plume that is more or less at the CM in both data sets and the dark material that seems to split the storm trail in the RGB, although more subtle, also is visible in the IR. It is interesting to blink between the RGB & IR data to pick out the more subtle detail that comes up in IR.

Thanks for looking

Regards
Trevor
