OK. I picked up the plate yesterday but last night's sky was so clear and seeing so steady that I put it aside for the time being.
I have now installed it to the Pegasus pier. It installed well enough even though the positioning of the 4 legs was slightly off.
But because of that I am not going to express a final view about this plate until I have my PMX in hand to check it on that. Frankly, I'm expecting problems because I don't think the positional accoracy is up to the level of precision required. I'll postr some pocs later today.
To boot, it cost me $275.00 for 4 hours labour and all the threaded rods, nuts and washers, paint and general preening around.
So I am also not really sure it represents value for money. What are SB charging for an adapter plate? Anyone know?
