Im kind of local (Thirroul near Wollongong) , go to the ACT a bit for bushwalks etc so could wangle something...
I have a 6 inch Astro Optical newt/ dob. Mirror is old and needs a re aluminizing but still works ok and is not damaged, just a bit dirty. great tough scope with steel tube, solid plywood mount 1 x 24mm eyepc and a laser finder. Many a starry night has been enjoyed with this scope (used it more than I do my bigger one due to size!)
