For sale is a Destiny 2" helical focuser.

Comes with a 1.25" adaptor that is also threaded for 2" filters.

The focuser also comes with four sets of stainless steel mounting screws and washers.

The base of the focuser has four rubber feet that touch the tube/focuser board

It has a long 2" draw-tube travel.

The mechanism is very smooth in action, with no binding or chattering when the draw-tube is wound in or out. There is also close matching between the mating threads, resulting in no play in the draw-tube. Only a little play comes when the draw-tube is wound out all the way with only two winds of the thread left, by which time the draw-tube has been wound out too far.

The focuser is brand new, never having being mounted. I've bought two of these, with this one now surplus as the OTA it was to sit on is no longer going ahead.

I have one of these helical focusers on my 10" dob as they are much lighter than conventional 2" crayford style focusers. I'm very happy with it on this scope - that's why I ordered them again for new projects.
