Good to hear you had some clear skies at last Brett. Quite an interesting mount and scope combo. upgrading the scope sounds a good idea. One thing to bear in mind if you go for a truss style newt on an EQ mount will be to make sure that you can easily rotate the scope to get the focuser in the right position.
