OK, MP checker shows only X1 in a 15' radius of ephemeris positions at those times (down to mag 20). And I can see Elenin now, LOL!
So no help here but I've overlaid DSS plates with crosshairs generated on comet ephemeris positions for those times so others can pick it out.
