Some birds
Went for a tour of the swamps of the Mooloort Plains yesterday. The bird life was impressive but it was hard to get close enough for good photos. I thought these 2 came out alright though especially the Wedge-Tail. Taken with Canon 500d with 55-250mm EF-S zoom. In the absence of a longer lens, I've been experimenting with photographing birds through my ED80. 'Tis a tad cumbersome, but I thought this one of a Buff-Rumped Thornbill on our bird bath was not bad.
