The image scale and general tones are very good, but on my screen, it looks as if maybe a noise reduction or smoothing filter has been applied to aggressively, which is masking some of the finer details and making parts of the image appear too smooth?
Tycho, the larger craters and those in the various Maria look as if they have the potential to show much more detail so the image certainly appears sharp, but the smoothing may be suppressing some nicer details?
Top marks for getting out though, I gave up with the clouds and the cold – yeah I know…I’m a wuss!
