D, v, mds?
Going through dovetail systems, trying to figure out what I'd like to get. My requirements are pretty simple, need systems for the following...
1) Guidescope mount
2) Counter-weight
3) DSLR Camera mount
I've reviewed the Losmandy D, Vixen V and the ADM MDS... all seem to have merit, but I'm leaning toward the MDS, even though it is a proprietary system. I don't plan on any heavy loads and don't plan on using the OTA on a GEM.
Would love some comments and feedback on all three. I plan on ordering soon, as my son is headed to the states on business in July.
BTW: To be used on my Celestron U2K (8" SCT).
