Before you rush out to get all the bells and whistles, see if you can get to a club meeting somewhere. That way, you'll be able to try out other people's eyepieces in your new scope, and see for yourself how this gear performs in it.
The folks there will be able to give practical help, especially since your scope will still have "that new scope smell",
