Wow Bart! How lucky you were to have experienced that!!
After hearing everyone's experiences of hearing noises like Bart did, oh... to dream that I will one day.
Here's something interesting:
My daughter said a few days ago in the direction of East, she and her boyfriend saw a large orange coloured ball with a long trail that travelled for ages (she seemed to think 5 mins- I think that's probably a bit too long). She knows meteor showers, even having recently seen the Geminids with me, and was definite it was nothing as quick as that. Very slow she said. We deduced it to be space junk.
I realised there was a thread running on similar topic so came looking for it to read up on the experiences shared here.
Must be lots of space junk coming through at the moment
I got to admit though, if I heard one of those wooshing noises out there all alone in the dark at a silly hour of the morning, think I'd just pass out - right there on the cold, wet grass.
