So I had a chance to test the tripod in the wind.
Viewed for about half hour tonight. All I can say apart from the wind the new tripod was fantastic
I had trouble focusing at high power with the old aluminium tripod. It was very frustating. To give it a number say, I would give it a 2/10. Very bad.
Let me tell you the wooden tripod I give it a 9/10.
It worked so good its unbelievable
Focusing at high power was great so smooth hardly any vibration.
So this was well worth the effort. If your thinking of doing it. Don't think it just do it. You wont regret it.
