Thanks Allan - yes it will be there with me at astrofest, as too Alan's. the thing that makes the scope is the hotech field flattener - it is brilliant. In some way i will miss using the scope in the doghouse, but it will be replaced wit a Meade LX200R 14" which i hope to operate with a 0.62 Lepus reducer and a optec temperature compensating focuser - with the cooled 40D LOL i wont go to a dedicated CCD just yet.
