Yes, this galaxy is one for darker skies but there is still plenty to see in your shot, nice work and worth having a crack at after M104.

Mike - still you despite what you say. Just had 3 clear nights and now the clouds have rolled in again. That may be the end of my run for a while.

Yes 6744 is a faint one. The core is bright but those spiral arms are very faint.

Thanks Greg. I'd tried before with another camera but didn't realise how the light pollution would really cripple pulling detail out of the murk.
