C/2009 F4 McNaught

2011 Apr 30.56 UT; m1= 13.3; Dia= 1.2’; DC= 2; 25cm L, f:5 (x83)
Coma small, no tail, appears slightly elongated to NW, averted vision.
Comp Star= ASAS-3 145624; Method= S; Cat= AU



C/2011 C1 McNaught

2011 Apr 30.78 UT; m1= 9.1; Dia= 4’; DC= 3; 25cm L, f:5 (x39)
Coma small and almost evenly diffuse with slight tightening of central condensation, no tail.
Comp Star= TYC 1161-1575-1; Method= S; Cat= TJ


2011 May 01.79 UT; m1= 9.3; Dia= 3.5’; DC= 3; 25cm L, f:5 (x39)
Coma has diffuse edges with slight brightening of central condensation, no tail.

2011 Apr 30.78 UT; m1= 10.4; Dia= 3.8’; DC= 5; 25cm L, f:5 (x39)
Coma larger than previous observations, diffuse with tight, small central condensation, no tail, coma enhances slightly with Swan band filter.

2011 May 01.78 UT; m1= 11.0; Dia= 2.5’; DC= 5; 25cm L, f:5 (x39)
No tail, coma diffuse with bright central condensation, slight interference by zodiacal light.
