When I made the decision to buy a scope I had a look around for advice on the Internet. I found IceInSpace and all those posts mentioning a dobsonian as the ideal for a beginner. Well, for me it wasn't, but I blame no one else than me. I simply couldn't afford the kind of equipment I wanted in the first place (something to take photos with), which I, unfortunately, figured out
after I got the Dob. It's sitting in storage for weeks now and this just feels wrong. That's why I'm selling it.
