In memory of Scott Mellish
This is my first message on this website after reading all your thoughts and memories of Scott.
Your kind & heartfelt messages to his loving family, mother Pat, sisters Jodie & Tracey & family members are overwhelming and are being read with much appreciation.
Scott was my cousin, he was a kind and gentle soul, a true gentleman, dedicated sky observer & extremely talented sketch artist. He was a quiet man who had a sense of humor which came out when you least expected it.
My dad spoke today of how he, Scott's dad Noel (deceased) & Scott went away some years ago when Scott was quiet young to the Blue Mountains. Scott built a telescope and they watched the stars over a couple of freezing cold nights and days in a tent. Scott explained what he saw and my dad still remembers how much he loved observing the sky.
I believe Scott had just gone on a another trip closer to his beloved stars and the world he could only reach through his drawings and telescope.
