Saturn April 18th, storm, Encke in good seeing

Hi All,

Imaged Saturn last night in good seeing, have very good coverage of the head of the storm which now contains a very bright spot, this seems more distinct and concentrated than it was last time I imaged this region.

Have 4 RGB & 4 807nm IR data sets captured at approx 35 min intervals, the IR data is up there with my best for this apparition.

The RGB's also show the Encke division quite well and Dione & Tethys are in all RGB's. This would be my best rendition of the Encke division for this apparition, it is best defined in the rings on the morning ansae.

Have also attached animations of both RGB & IR data sets, Encke can be seen right through the RGB animation, a testament to how consistent the conditions were for this session.

Thanks for looking.

Regards
Trevor
