Question Collimating with a Focal Reducer

Hi all,

Question about collimating a scope that has a Focal reducer with it in the GSO collimator's laser beam is diffuse into a spotty oval. I first collimated it with the Focal reducer removed and it worked great but when I put the reducer back in after collimating the laser light was off center. But looking through the focuser it looked spot on still with my eye lined up with the center mark on the primary
