Not surprising you had to re-climb part of the learning curve after a 6 month lay off – glad you managed to overcome the gremlins though.

I tried the http link to the hi-res version and got an error message.

Cheers

Thanks for the comments Dennis. Glad you liked it. Dense field indeed. I fixed the link now. First time I've had problems with tinyurl.com. Usually works fine. Weird.

Thanks Fred. See you next meeting with your new dolly hardware and awesome timelapses.

6 months between images. Thats a long time to try and remember everything. With my old timers problems I can't remember 6 days back so no hope for me.

Get processing, I want to see the big one.
Thank you Doug. Yes, bit rusted. I just got to get back on top of it.

Great field Marc, I love starry fields like this, sooooo much more awe inspiring than almost starless tiny fields - great stuff

Thanks Mike. I love widefields too. It puts everything in perspective and there's always an impression of vastness and scale. Yes I believe it is part of the coal sack.

Welcome back. I am looking forward to seeing some great shots through your new telescope.

Hey Ross, wassup? The new scope is very nice yes. I'm very pleased with it and it's light and easy to set-up. Still little tweaking needed with the flattener but nothing dramatic. Thanks for the comments and catch up soon.

This scope does look like it's a keeper. Very promising indeed!
Huge star field and one of my favourite objects nestled in amongst it all.

Great colour on your stars, lovely and golden...

Nice work.

Look forward to the mosaic... that will be something with this fov.

All the best
Rich
Thanks Rich. I started debayering and stacking. I have a new Win7 64bits system now with an I7 and 24GB of RAM. I don't even have time to turn around for a quick cuppa.
