Pentax 7mm XL
Mint condition with all original packaging, boxes, caps etc. The review by Ed Ting rates this eyepiece as optically the ultimate 7mm widefield (65') eyepiece - flat and sharp to the edge with no scatter whatsoever - even better than his beloved 7mm Nagler or the Vixen LVW
provided price isn't an issue.
I have to agree with Ed's assessment (basically optically perfect but expensive) as this is probably the best EP I have ever owned and optically I cannot see any difference between the 7mm XL and the current 7mm XW (I managed to do a A-B comparison sometime ago). The XW appears to have more plastic in its construction and thus is lighter and features an extra 5' FOV. The 7mm XW is listed at a staggering $720 at Star Optics.
I am selling this eyepiece only because I am downsizing my OTA's and as great as this Pentax may be it is too much in terms of weight for my 60mm refractor.
