Cheers Dave, I did have maxpoint in the mix last night and threw that out as well so it might have been the problem not maxim. It was telling me focusmax requires maxim version 2 or greater? Works now though. I'm thinking ccd commander might be the next step to automate the lot. It looks to be able to control everything.
