I'm afraid I am in the same camp as Gary, and while I like to see innovation and progress, to me it is headed past the point of diminishing returns.
I use an F4 AT8", and it is similar or the same as this variant. At f4 it is tricky enough to collimate and focus, I can only imaging what it will be like at F2.8. And while you are gaining an obvious light collection advantage, is it really worth the extra cost and collimation effort? To me not.
Each to their own though of course.
