Thanks Rob glad you approve

Colour mapping, basically putting the data for filters in the RGB channels of the image but this can be manipulated by selectively adding or subtracting from the colours in photoshop. Have a look at this
page by Bob Franke for altering the HST pallet for emphasising golds and turquoise. As good a place to start as any.

Thanks Allan, Not much data to this one, 5 Ha subs and 3 each of OIII and SII. As you can see Ha was dominant in time as well as signal. The colour in my shot is an extension of using the selective colour routine from above. I saved Bob Franke's steps as an PS action but it still had some green so I continued using selective colour to boost the orange (winged it with that but cannot recall exactly). I think I added magenta into the yellows and reds. Play around with it and see what you can come up with. Altering the neutrals can have some interesting effects too. This is a
novice giving advice.
