Thanks Frank. Yes I was going to try some selective high pass filtering but haven't got round to it. I was a bit preoccupied with problems with my observatory roof this afternoon

I've had success minimising those flares by flocking my secondary shroud on my CDK. It'd probably work on the RCOS. Perhaps the shroud unscrews making it easy to install the flock.

Thanks Greg. Actually I like NGC 4945 with that golden colour it has. Thanks for the tip about the flare. At the moment it's only a rare occurrence so it's probably not necessary to do anything about it yet.
