Ken, Nobody would want the person you describe never mind Suzy, it wasn't till Carl Sagen came along that science became cool to the public.
Brian Cox is only following in his footsteps.
Hundreds of Astrophysicists are not employed by media companies to sell their products and probably couldn't do it as well as Brian Cox anyway
Astronomy and Science need the likes of Brian Cox to keep the public informed
That the post was couched in fun terms, was none the less was a serious attempt at getting a well known and fun person to come and join us on iceinspace .
I think Suzy's Request to mike is a good one with plenty of merit and would be a great Coup for iceinspace
And I for one hope it comes to fruition
