One of my workmates (DF) comes in today and tells me this. She had a hair appointment and the apprentice hairdresser (AH) doing her hair comes out with this:

AH: OMG yeah Liz Taylor died, like so sad
DF: Yes, very sad.
AH: Yah I didn't know who Liz Taylor was, I totally had to google her
DF: Uh-huh
AH: Hey, is she Liv Tyler's mum?
<crickets chirping>
