One more pointer with Skyscout - don't store it inside any case or along side your eyepieces/diagonals. Mine worked great until one unfortunate evening when I had the idea of storing my skyscout actually inside one of my cases alongside a bunch of astro bits and pieces (ie.metal objects). Initially, I couldn't get it to work but once I did manage to get it working again the accuracy in terms of the identify and locate functions have never been the same/as good.
