I got it running on the AC powersupply for the EQ6 and the middle pin is positive

Stupid and again stupid me in my enthousiasm i connected the RA motor to the DEC output and vice versa
.
Fitted the leads correctly and the mount works as it should.
Steering it from The sky6 is a breeze and it slews everywhere properly as i can see (got it setup indoors).
No handcontroller needed and my usb gps is recognized by the Gemini Ascom driver and also updates the hand controller thru usb
