Moon craters March 14.

Hi all,
Ok not anywhere as good as I have seen. But I'm posting these so I can get comments especially about processing.

These two images are my first through my set up C8 scope see pic. They where taken with a DBK 31 colour at prime focus. Scope is F10 FL 2000 but I suspect its a little higher.

yes I know all about affects on seeing and a not cooled SCT
and both where bad. the seeing was terrible. But I wanted to try as I have never used the camera etc etc.

I only captured about 30 seconds of AVi's I used registax 5.1 for the first time and processed what you see.
yes there blurry etc But there was not a sharp image in the AVi's.

So i learned,
One thing that is really important is focusing as you all know. I have the 10-1 focuser thank god but its still not good enough. Will have to look at some sort of motor focus.

Also seeing and cooled down telescope. Your spot on John

Cheers.
Dave.
