It can be frustrating to get the camera and guider all in focus with the wsg model. I set mine up for rough focus during the day and then did the fine stuff at night. It's worth the time to get it right and you only have to do it once and then lock it all down. I hope you have as much fun with yours as I have had with mine and that you get some clear skies.
