That's got the hallmarks of another wall-hanging masterpiece.
Two suggestions; flatten the background a bit to black. It doesn't necessarily have to go all the way, just don't let us see the magenta tint. Secondly, just a bit of contrast. I'm the last person to be talking about contrast as I like low contrast images (I make them myself, too), but, this could do with a bit.
