And now OzPlaza tell me my warranty was only for 3 months! (Thought it was 12 months) I've had the unit for 5 months.
Guess I'll have to pull it apart and look for some leaky filter capacitor or maybe a short circuit. Suppose I could consider buying another, or keep up the supply of batteries or else find a solar power supply.
Alternatively just cry.
