Thanks Matt, the spot came up ok so I suppose this underlines the point that data of scientific value can still be eeked out in less than favorable conditions.

Thanks Derek, this dark spot is most certainly associated with the storm, it first formed over a very active section of the storm and may well be associated with the lightning from that active region.

Hope your weather clears up John, always look forward to seeing your work. A gauge of the seeing for this session was that I only stacked 30% of my data, threw the rest away. I have been running FireCapture 1.2 for a few weeks now and like the added features. Yes, collimation is certainly a critical component for successful planetary imaging.
