Can you please explain a bit more, exactly what kind of information you're after?
I'm studying about stars at the moment and the information about them is quite extensive and indepth. Are you after say, a list and names of just the brightest stars?
I wish I could have a list of just the brightest stars with associated astrophysics but as yet have not been able to find one, so I have to google each one. Perhaps that's what you're after?
I have a great reference book "Atlas of the Stars" by Cambridge Press. It's very indepth though, but is a fantastic reference book.
