Thanks John. Yes it was windy here too, but it was a rare occasion where the low alt winds made the seeing. I've only seen one other occasion of this back in the early stages of the last Jupter opposition. Most of my AVI's failed because of the wind & clouds. When capturing at 15FPS it pays to try & run for close to the 6 min max time that you can to gather enough frames. The wind died out just before 4AM and the seeing went with it (back to 3/10) just to confirm my statement about the wind 'making' the seeing. I only got 2 AVI's out of 15 for the full 5 mins 55 secs that I shoot for.
