I can't wait for your obs reports and I agree with everything that everyone has said on here. I have no doubt in my mind that you will go on to great things and stand head to head with some of the great observers around, in time to come. I know it, we all know it. You are very deserving of such a fine telescope and such an inspiration to many of us.
So is this an early birthday present or have I missed your birthday? I know you had your heart set on a dob but am curious - did your parents surprise you with a scope that size? How do you plan to move it around- wheels or trolley? Do you plan on keeping your old scope? So many questions I know
