They've got that one on Windows too, but it goes 'del *'. I once instructed someone who was having trouble using the GUI deleting a lot of files from a floppy to just go to the a: drive and type 'del *' at the DOS prompt. They did so but forgot to change directories and ended up deleting the contents of c:\windows\. After that I was told to stick my command line to where the sun don't shine.
