David, has it been working all o.k in the past?
I don't really know anything about the dome set up but maybe there is a timeout setting in ASCOM or the Sky or maybe uninstall everything and reinstall, start from scratch again. Not much, but a thought.
Or try resetting everything up with a different planetarium program.
