Hi All. Wishing to share with you objects that don't get much screen time, here's an image I collected earlier in the month from Heathcote, Vic, of Gum 17 (RCW33) in Vela just on the edge of the Vela SNR. I imaged alone with only a swarm of mozzies to keep me company!
It's LRGB 120:60:60:50 (I mislaid a blue subframe somewhere!) through my TOA130 with reducer (f/5.6 fl ~720mm)/EM-200 Temma2/SBIG11000M combination.
Lots of interest in the image. The very bright patch of emission above, a filmy haze with structure on the left and many dark nebulous areas, especially the sinuous one with structure cutting horizontally through the nebula. Trumpler 10 is the collection of bright blue stars towards upper left and there's a smaller cluster of yellowish stars lower left.
A high res version is here:

Regards and clear skies to all.
