I'm glad someone started a weather thread, 'cause I'm absoltutely .............. at the weather here! I got 10 minutes at the eyepiece last night before the cloud thickened - the first 10 minutes I might add since mid October because of cloud.
And tonight!!!! I can't believe it!!! I work every night bar Tuesday 'til around 10:30. Tonight has been clear, crystal clear mind you, all night. What do you reckon - I'm excited!!!!
I gets home, takes the pride and joy outside to cool while I clean myself up after working in a stiflingly hot kitchen all night - still crystal clear. You beauty!!!
15 minutes later............. I goes outside, grabs my 30mm sv ep to eyeball the Pleiades, and guess what? Yep, it's clouded over.
Completely!
I am dumbstruck!!!!! I just can't believe it. I had even taken my star maps to work to plan a star hop around Taurus and Orion .........
I am now sitting here with a very sad face, writing this to the only people in the world who will understand how I feel right now..
Btw, we have had very little rain up here in the tropics (simply a lot of cloud), as opposed to the SE corner of the state, which is experiencing some flooding atm.
