Mirror cooling stage III

Ok, it looks like it works, with no fan, the ambient is dropping at an average 2.0 to 2.2 degrees per hour, the mirror in this same time, cooled at a rate of 1.657.

when the fan was switched on to suck, the ambient had slowed to 1.9 degrees per hour, but the mirror cooled at 2.2 degrees per hour.

Well I spose we have two issues with the fan on the side of the tube, the boundary layer is being interupted and sucked out and also the mirror is being cooled at roughly 2 degrees per hour. I would imagine that if the temp was falling faster then the mirror would also fall faster.

Anyway i am happy with this little experiment.

It can be put to bed for a little while. The motors are coming for driving the dob!!!! - yay!
