C14

WITHDRAWN:
Thanks to those who looked.

Expressions of interest please - Celestron C14 - orange tube OTA.

Comes with:
ITEMS I FORGOT TO MENTION:
MoonLite 10:1 focuser (US$300)
.63 Celestron Reducer (fits into drawtube of focuser) (US$150)
Micro-Focuser
(US$200)

Explore Scientific 8x50 finder (US$99) with pulse-illuminated reticule (US$50);
(original Celestron finder and bracket is also available)
Bob's Knobs for Collimating (US$25)
HyperStar conversion kit (fitted) (US$350)
Set of 14" rings and full-length Losmandy Bar (US$400)
Heater strap (US$40)
Celestron DewShield (US120)
SCT cooler (US$120)
(These US$ prices are what I paid and does not include freight).

This is a big scope. Weight is about 23 Kgs. I'm not sure of the age but it is one of those early C14s made in the US with beautifully figured mirrors. I do have packaging but bear in mind that freight on an item like this size and weight is expensive and carries not insignificant risk sO either a pickup or reasonable delivery would work best.

As a guide, I envisage an all-up price of about A$3500 and that includes nearly A$2000 worth of accessories (if you include a bit for postage).

Reason for sale: I have too many scopes and too few eyes/hands and this one just has to make room.

Peter
