Sounds like good fun my son's teacher had asked me if i was interesed in doing something like this for 9 year olds too (i was like um arh mmm) so let me know how you go

One idea that i did have in mind is to print out and laminate the skymap for February for each child and stand outside with the laser pointer and have a quick scan of the sky before sticking their eye in an eyepiece, that way they get to know their way around the sky themselves and also a little souvenier to take home and be able to show off to their other family members
