Went chasing yesterday out to top of the range near Mt Pleasant. We saw the supercells forming. Even saw a few strikes but the stikes showing on Weather zone were non existent. I think most of those strikes are c-c and not ground strikes.
BTW this system was not spawned from ex-TC Yasi. This system has been building all week in far north of SA and it just got going yesterday. We will not see Yasi's influence until maybe tomorrow in SA and then later in the week for Vic.
